YOUR TASKS
- Responsibility for the development and implementation of the globally coordinated product group strategy for the armrest upholstery and softgoods product group
- Analysis of global procurement markets and implementation of national and international benchmarks
- Comprehensive support for the assigned product group armrest upholstery and softgoods
- Obtaining quotations and carrying out price and value analyses Independent negotiation of framework and individual contracts
- Defining priorities for current orders, including through coordination with relevant internal departments
- Ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of the range of parts and the associated documentation
YOUR QUALIFICTIONS
- Completed technical or business studies / industrial engineering or further training as a technician
- Professional experience in a manufacturing company in the purchasing of production materials
- Advanced knowledge of common Office applications and SAP/R3
- Business fluent in written and spoken English
- Efficient, independent and structured way of working as well as a high degree of initiative
- Strong communication and conflict management skills
- Willingness to travel on business
