YOUR TASKS

  • Management of complex product development programs
  • New development of seating platforms from concept to approval by the authorities
  • Management of large interdisciplinary project teams
  • First point of contact for all project questions
  • Cooperation with international airlines, Boeing and Airbus
  • Ensuring that the project goals are achieved on schedule, on budget and in line with quality and stakeholder expectations
  • Creation of project plans including the definition of milestones and responsibilities as well as the delegation and control of work packages
  • Continuous monitoring of project progress and timely initiation of solution measures
  • Ensuring the flow of information within the international team, with airlines, aircraft manufacturers and licensing authorities
  • Active stakeholder management
  • Implementation of risk management
  • Regular project reporting to the steering committee (including management)

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed technical studies (aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable degree), ideally with a specialization in project management
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the project management (aviation industry or comparable)
  • In-depth project management knowledge and several years of professional experience
  • Several years of experience in product development
  • Business fluency in spoken and written English
  • Good communication skills
  • Very good organizational and coordination skills
  • Confident handling of MS-Project, Jira, MS-Office, MS-Teams
  • IPMA or PMP certification desirable
