YOUR TASKS
- Independent development and coordination of verification strategies within the scope of certification, qualification and development projects with regard to fire properties and in compliance with the time and budget specifications.
- Preparation, supervision, evaluation, documentation and presentation of fire tests for passenger seats, their assemblies and materials
- Consulting and proactive support of the development department in the design process to optimise the verification process
- Internal and external coordination between the partners involved with regard to the scheduling of process steps
- Technical guidance and support of employees inside and outside the company
- Optimisation, preparation and review of test plans and reports including their procedures
- Supervision and certification of fire tests
- Support in the creation of process and work instructions
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed studies in one of the following fields: aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, materials engineering, or alternatively a comparable degree in the natural sciences.
- Ideally several years of relevant professional experience in the field of testing
- Knowledge of test and verification methods
- Knowledge of certification and test regulations for aviation equipment
- High degree of coordination of parallel tasks and deadlines
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office and reading technical documentation
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- High motivation and willingness to learn
- Independent way of working
